By creating an account or using Clarify Me ("the App", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Clarify Me is operated as an individual business based in Germany.

Clarify Me is a reflective journaling application that offers AI-generated daily reflection questions, pattern recognition across your entries, and weekly insight summaries, intended to support self-reflection for women in leadership roles.

Clarify Me supports self-reflection — it does not provide therapy, diagnosis, or medical advice. If you are in distress, please reach out to a qualified professional.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Clarify Me. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are located in a jurisdiction with a higher minimum age for consent to data processing, that higher age applies.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

Clarify Me offers a free tier and a paid "CLARIFY ME PREMIUM" subscription at €9.99/month.

• Subscriptions automatically renew each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• On iOS, subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account and managed via App Store Settings. Apple's standard refund and billing terms apply.
• On the web, subscriptions are billed via Stripe and can be managed through your account billing portal.
• Prices are shown in EUR and may vary by region due to taxes.
• You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time, except where required by applicable law.

You retain ownership of the reflections and personal content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide and improve the Service, including generating AI-based insights.

Your reflections are processed by Google Gemini AI, accessed via Lovable's AI Gateway, to generate personalized insights and reflective guidance. Data is stored in EU-based Supabase infrastructure. Your words are never used to train AI models.

• Do not use the App for unlawful purposes.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the App's infrastructure.
• Do not misuse the AI features to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content.
• Do not share your account with others.

All trademarks, logos, design elements, and software underlying Clarify Me remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The App is provided "as is". AI-generated reflections and insights are for self-reflection purposes only and do not constitute professional, medical, psychological, or financial advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Clarify Me shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including EU consumer protection law).

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. EU consumers may also access the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Jurisdiction: EU.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Version: 2025-05-29.
